I work in the studio almost every day and am constantly creating new things, thus, the majority of my pieces are one-of-kind or very limited edition (2-3 made total). All one-of-a-kind pieces are listed as such in the details.
Because each piece is handmade, no two will ever be identical. If you are ordering a made-to-order piece, it may have small variations from that in the photo, making yours a one-of-a-kind treasure. I try my best to have the photos on my website reflect the true colors and textures of the piece. Sometimes the resolution of different computers alters the hues. If the piece you receive is not to your liking due to color variances, I accept returns for a full refund or exchange.
Everything is handmade by me, with the very appreciated help of my assistant, Mariel, who helps with attaching chains and clasps, etc.
PROCESSING TIME
Once you place your order, I will contact you with an shipping date. Please allow 7 days from date of purchase for your items to be made and shipped.
SHIPPING
All orders are shipped from Costa Rica within 7 business days of receiving your payment (post offices are closed Saturday and Sunday). Packages to the U.S., Canada & Europe generally arrive within 14 business days, although occasionally up to 20 days. During the Christmas holidays, orders placed after October 10 cannot be guaranteed for on-time delivery due to customs delays. Please take this timeline into consideration if you are ordering for a specific event (birthday, holiday, etc.).
All government offices in Costa Rica are closed for one week each year, the week before Easter for Semana Santa. If you are placing an order in that time period, I will be shipping your order the Monday after Easter when the post office is re-opened. Thank you for understanding.
EXCHANGES // WARRANTY
In the rare instance that something unfortunate happens to your jewelry, I want to hear about it. I’m always happy to discuss your piece and want to help you fix anything unexpected, whether its your fault or not, so you can get back to enjoying it quickly.
~ If your jewelry breaks or malfunctions please get in touch with me via the contact link. Please include photos of the broken or damaged piece. If a repair is possible, returned items will be exchanged or repaired, depending on the nature of the piece and issue experienced. The warranty covers rare defects in materials or workmanship, but it does not cover normal wear and tear, neglect, accidental damage, or abuse.
~ If for some reason the item(s) you purchased don’t work out, I accept exchanges within 7 days of receipt. Exchanged items must be in pristine, unworn condition, and include all original packaging and tags. Please contact me for the return mailing address.
~ Items may be exchanged for store credit. Refunds are not offered.
~ Shipping costs are non-refundable.
~ Buyer is responsible for all shipping fees on exchanged orders, including the shipping on the newly exchanged item(s).
~ All returns and exchanges must be shipped back to me in new condition, unworn, and unused. It is recommended that the item be sent back in a trackable manner (Priority Mail or the like). If the item is mailed in a non-trackable manner, I am not responsible for it being lost or damaged.
~ On custom orders, please be very sure of any sizes you provide me. If I create a custom piece for you and the size you provided does not work out, there will be additional costs (shipping, etc.) to re-alter it for you.
~ There are no exchanges on custom orders.
CARING FOR YOUR JEWELRY
Many of my pieces are made of either brass or copper. Metals naturally tarnish over time due to body oils and oxidation. To keep your jewelry shiny and like new a jewelry polishing cloth is very helpful. Also for a thorough clean mix baking powder, lemon and water in a small cup and gently scrub your jewelry with a toothbrush. Some people have a reaction to brass or copper where it leaves a greenish color on the skin temporarily. This is very common due to your natural body oils but if you want to lessen this affect you can put clear nail polish on your jewelry where it touches the skin.
